Profile

Samuel is a leadership development consultant with over 20 years' experience leading and governing non-profit organisations across East Africa — spanning strategy, organisational management, partnerships, fundraising and social entrepreneurship. He has designed and led programmes that develop leaders and grow institutions, and brings deep cross-cultural experience working with donors, boards and community stakeholders. His training across East Africa and the United States, combined with his coaching and mediation practice, gives him a unique blend of strategic and people leadership. At GGF, Samuel serves as Executive Director — setting the vision and strategy, building the institutional foundation, and driving the partnerships and resource mobilisation needed to scale skills, mentorship and opportunity for young Africans.

Profile

Samuel is a strategic, multilingual professional with extensive cross-continental experience across international development, partnerships, fundraising, business development and project management — spanning Africa and Europe. He has coordinated complex pan-African programmes for non-profits in the education and health sectors (including leading education and training across Francophone and Anglophone Africa), and has worked at the intersection of human-centred design, technology and product development. His global experience and cross-cultural fluency uniquely position him to link GGF into a wide global network of donors, foundations, universities, corporates and professional communities across Europe and Africa. At GGF, Samuel leads financial management and sustainability, mobilises funding, and builds the partnerships, linkages and professional networks that expand GGF's reach and impact.
