Edition 3 · Anger Management

Third Edition

  • A.I.C. Ngong Hills, Ngong, Kajiado County · delivered with a community partner
  • 700 participants

What happened

The third edition was different by design. Delivered in partnership with a community partner, it set aside the skills tracks and focused entirely on psychosocial support and mentorship under the theme Anger Management — meeting a clear need the youth themselves had expressed.

Across five days, youth met in age-appropriate groups for structured sessions: recognising anger and its triggers, healthy ways to express and regulate strong emotions, conflict resolution and repair, and forgiveness. The content was interactive and practical, giving them tools they could use straight away at home, in school and in the community.

The partnership made it possible to serve 700 youth — more than the first two editions combined. It showed that partners can plug into and scale GGF's model, and strengthened our growing evidence base on adolescent wellbeing. The edition was delivered by GGF and partner facilitators, counsellors and pastors, and hosted by A.I.C. Ngong Hills.
