Employability Training & Support
From trained young person to earning young adult.
About this programme
What it's about
Delivered at our Youth Employment Hub, this programme is where trained young people are launched into income. It combines employability training (CV and cover-letter writing, interview preparation, workplace ethics, communication and teamwork, digital literacy, and English or other language training where needed), employer partnerships (local and international companies, negotiated internships, apprenticeships, graduate-trainee programmes and direct recruitment), a job placement centre (a database of trained and verified youth, matched to employers by skills and qualifications), international opportunities (documentation, certification recognition, visa guidance and cultural orientation, working only with licensed international recruitment agencies), and a digital talent platform (coming soon — where employers search qualified candidates and youth access remote and freelance work).
That every young person who trains with GGF and chooses employment exits with a real income pathway — a job, an internship or an international placement.
What young people walk away with
- Job- and interview-ready CV, portfolio and communication skills
- Placement into internships, apprenticeships or graduate roles
- International placements via licensed recruitment partners
- Access to a digital talent platform for remote and freelance work
- Employment outcomes tracked and mentored beyond placement
Why it matters
Households lifted. Youth unemployment reduced one young person at a time — with a pipeline of skilled young Africans meeting real workforce demand at home and abroad.
